"Some Kind of Funny Porto Rican?"
A Cape Verdean American Story
Film Description
This documentary chronicles the tragedy and scandel of what happened to three generations of immigrants from the Cape Verde Islands in the Fox Point section of Providence, Rhode Island. Forcibly displaced by urban renewal in the 1960s and 1970s, their homes are now elegantly restored houses and antique stores.
