Boston Cinema Census
The Boston Cinema Census is our annual screening event hosted by the historic Brattle Theatre. For years the BCC has provided an exhibition venue for regionally produced works to be presented to a local audience. The Boston Cinema Census is a survey of the most interesting and innovative works created by local emerging filmmakers - students, professionals, artists, and film enthusiasts alike.
As an area where film resources and funding are limited, the Boston region naturally encourages a climate of personally driven filmmaking, and the Cinema Census is a primary vehicle for emerging artists to display their talents and achievements. Submit your film and participate in creating a body of work that is a true reflection of our community.
